I was really feeling bad about tearing out the cabinets. Thinking back 60 years to when they were built, and how the carpenter is probably a great-grandpa now. I just couldn't send them to the landfill.
I posted to 'craigslist' that if anyone could get them out of the house in one piece, they could have them. Dan, a local retired architect, came to my rescue, and removed them in about 3 hours with his son, Trevor.
