On the way to the bay, an abandoned field.
Getting on the beach.
Now he's not.
We have another group out today. Who are they?
And the ship goes out, but the kayakers just sailed right past.
A landlubber's perspective, after the fog lifted.
Old trucks in the distance.
And.... the FOG
Some went behind the rocks, and some (me) stayed waaaay out here.
A stop on the beach
The seals kept popping up and checking us out, but whenever I'd hit the shutter release - poof!, they'd disappear.
And, now he is, again.
Then the foggy bay. Kim getting ready to lead the charge.
We are going... thatta way.
Reconnecting after the "behind the rocks" moment.
A look back at the bridge. The fog never budged.
Rich and his parlour tricks.
And after a bumpy ride back through the gate, we're back at the PYC.
A bird, outside the window.
Helicopter under the bridge. The things we do for the tourists.
Rich. None the worse for wear.
Big jellyfish (and my foot for scale).
And now, back to the foggy bridge.
And taking in the view.
That other set of kayakers, coming in the gate on the full flood. They were really zipping along!
The little house on the point.
