After a very rainy night, the skies held back, and off we went under the many bridges connecting Oakland to Alameda.

Kayaks on the dock of Quinn's Lighthouse. After a moment of surprise, they welcomed us, fed us, hydrated us (turned their heads as we brought out chocolate treats), and let us toss peanut shells all over their floor.
