We had a beautiful paddle over, and were greeted by Donna & Barbara.
The most excitement was provided by the occasional ferry wake.
Clear skies, flat seas... we could see clearly to Red Rock and the Richmond Bridge.

After we worked, some of us did a circumnavigation of the Island. We went counter-clockwise, but not one of us could recall ever doing it clockwise; such conformists.
Back in the day, segregation was still strong.
These three jets flew overhead twice. I have no idea why, or who they were. (darn cameras w/o viewfindes, I was guessing what I was getting here).
