Woke a 2:30 am to arrive at 5:30 am at the South Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge to provide swim escort for swimmers going from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge - a 6.2 mile swim, if you go in a direct line :). Our swimmers arrived 45 mins late, which meant we bobbed around in the dark until the sun came up over the city.
